Dr. Fox’s journey with veterinary services started with a childhood love for animals. This blossomed into a career delivering care to animals both large and small. His kind and gentle approach will help you feel at ease while your animals are receiving the care they need.

One thing we will never do is prescribe farm vet services, care, or medicine that your animal doesn’t need. Dr. Fox is straightforward in his diagnosis and will suggest only the most necessary procedures that will have the best opportunity for success and recovery.

Meet Dr. Fox

Dr. Fox was raised in Seguin, Texas, where he started working at Conover Veterinary Hospital his freshman year of high school, and quickly developed a passion for veterinary medicine. Dr. Fox attended Texas A&M University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science in 2011. In May 2015, he graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Fox worked as a technician at a mixed animal practice in Bryan, Texas throughout undergrad and veterinary school, and spent time at other mixed practices throughout Texas and Oklahoma. He worked as a mixed animal practitioner in Lockhart and Uvalde, and then moved to the Austin area in 2018. Dr. Fox started Fox Veterinary Services in 2021.

Dr. Fox married his wife, Alyssa in 2016. They have three kiddos- Hadley, Birdie, and Nolan. Dr. Fox has three dogs- George, Teddy, and Mable, and a cat, Moose. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Fox enjoys spending time with his family, as well as watching sports, reading, hunting, training Jiu Jitsu, and working out.

Dr. Fox enjoys a variety of large and small animal medicine and surgery. He strives to have open, straightforward conversations about treatment options, expected outcomes, and cost of farm vet services.

Michelle Stock

Veterinary Technician
Michelle Stock was born in Chicago, IL and grew up mostly in Austin, TX. In 2016 she graduated from Franklin Pierce University majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. As an avid ice hockey fan and player, in 2012 she was one of several women to be included in the inaugural FPU Women’s Ice Hockey Team. She was captain for 3 years, showing her leadership skills both on and off the ice. Growing up on a ranch, Michelle found her passion with helping both small and large animals. Michelle started working with Fox Veterinary Services in March of 2022. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and love for all pets is demonstrated by the care with which she treats fur babies as if they were her own. She continues to stay current with veterinary medicine trends and updates through Continuing Education. She has taken courses in CPR, heartworm disease, behavior problems, and more. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys playing ice hockey, mountain biking, reading, going to music festivals, and of course taking care of her huskies! She also assists her mom with her Dreams of Hope Ranch, a non-profit helping both children and adults with special needs disabilities.

Nicole Hickman

Veterinary Technician
Nicole was born in Austin, TX and grew up in Dripping Springs. She has always had a passion for animals, especially horses since she was young. Nicole started in the veterinary industry in 2014 as a kennel tech and graduated from veterinary technician school in 2015. She then did her externship with Austin Equine and Dripping Springs Animal Clinic. Nicole has 6 dogs (Susie, Lemon, Kendall, Dally, Honda and Freckles), 2 cats (Goose and Finley), 4 horses (Lene, Dandy Kat, Elsa and Velvet) and cattle.  Nicole lives in Driftwood with her husband, Blake, and daughter, Blakelee Raye. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, riding her horses, hunting, fishing and exploring new places.

Emma Henson

Veterinary Technician
Emma Henson was born in Kendallville, Indiana, and grew up in Dripping Springs, Texas, where her love for animals first took root. From a young age, Emma was immersed in the world of animals, competing with horses and show pigs throughout her life. This hands-on experience sparked her interest in veterinary medicine and led her to pursue a career in the field. In 2023, Emma earned her Veterinary Technician certification, gaining valuable experience while interning under Dr. Fox. She then continued her education at Tarleton State University, where she studied Agribusiness with a minor in Animal Science. In her spare time Emma enjoys hunting, hiking, and lake days with her golden retriever Rev!

Krista Styles

Veterinary Technician
Krista was born and raised in Texas. We always had horses and dogs growing up. I have been In the vet industry since 2017 and started at a vet clinic in Fredericksburg that specialized in large animal and small animal. That’s when I realized i wanted to be in the vet industry. I used to be a photographer for a rescue and eventually ended up fostering and helping rescue. I ended up having 2 foster fails -Karlie and Sheeba. I live in Johnson city with my daughter, Hallie and husband, Koty and our 4 legged large and small fur kiddos. In my free time , I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends and enjoying making memories!
Leanna

Leanna

Veterinary Technician

Leanna is a born-and-raised midwesterner – and proud of it! Wisconsin is her heart home. It’s where she developed a deep love for animals and a special fondness for cats and horses. In the last twelve years, since her first job as a kennel technician at the young age of fourteen, she has enjoyed working in many different clinic settings – everything from exotics to horses!

Since 2020, she has moved twice across the country. In that time, she made the most incredible memories. Together, her and her husband
worked on a large cattle ranch in West Texas, learning to rope, brand, and doctor cattle. They enjoyed hunting, trapping, and living the small town life in the rural Big Bend region. This is also where they rescued their first dog, Hazel!

Through it all, Leanna has continued to have a true passion for veterinary medicine, and feels that hernexperiences throughout the last decade have trained her to become a compassionate and qualified veterinary technician. She is proud to be a part of Dr. Fox’s team and looks forward to many more Texas adventures!
